Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 15, 2024

Gus Mail is built on a simple principle: your email is yours. This policy explains what we collect (almost nothing) and what we do with it (nothing).

What we collect

Account creation requires only a username and password. No phone number. No recovery email. No personal information. We store a salted hash of your password — never the plaintext.

What we don't collect

We do not log IP addresses. We do not track usage patterns. We do not read, scan, or analyze your messages. We do not use cookies beyond a single session token required for authentication.

Encryption

All messages are encrypted at rest using AES-256. Messages in transit are protected via TLS 1.3. We employ zero-access architecture — our servers cannot decrypt your stored mail.

Third parties

We do not share, sell, or provide access to any user data to any third party, under any circumstances, unless compelled by valid Swiss legal process.

Data deletion

You may delete your account at any time. All associated data is permanently erased within 30 days of the request.
